Diamond Wheel Cutting
Diamond wheel cutting is a process which is carried out by a lathe or CNC machine, the front face of the wheel is machine cut to a high polish finish. It is a highly specialised process and one that we have several years experience doing.
The first stage of refurbishing diamond cut wheels is to put them through a chemical stripping process. We then shot blast any remaining paint off the wheel. The wheels are then heated and powder coated the appropriate colour before the diamond cutting process is started.
The final part of the process is when we add a clear gloss lacquer finish. This finish is becoming very popular on all makes and models of cars from the New Style Renault Clio to the Mercedes C Class.
